Show was paired with three different community building workshops, including a mural workshop, silkscreen printing workshop, and legal information and resources to undocumented residents and advocates.

Featured artist in a group show curated by Manuel Rios celebrating the groundbreaking contributions of the Royal Chicano Air Force(RCAF), a collective of visionary artists who have shaped Chicana/o/x art and culture since the early 1970s. The “Influence” section of the show highlighted contemporary artists influenced by the R.C.A.F..
Other featured artists included: Jose Arenas, Ruby Chacon, Jesus Barraza, Gina Aparicio, Jose Lott, and Xico Gonzalez.

Acted as both a featured artist and the visual designer for a premier group exhibition honoring the printmaking legacy of Malaquias Montoya. Responsible for the comprehensive exhibition identity, including the feature gallery wall graphics, web and print marketing, and limited-edition giveaway prints.

That is why I was incredibly proud to be part of this group exhibition, which showcased the artworks of six Sacramento-area artist-educators alongside a selection of their students.

I curated these annual exhibitions alongside Brown Issues Yolo County youth artists, and in partnership with TANA Woodland. The show featured work by young artists from Yolo County, reflecting on their identities, experiences, and hopes for the community that we all live in. These unique perspectives highlighted a collective experience, and reimagined community spaces and systems with the hope of affecting positive change.
